Soul Mates: the extra-ordinary, unconditional ones

Updated: Jul 8, 2019

For a moment, set aside all the romanticized notions you have ever heard about soul mates, especially those about “true love.” Allow me to offer another perspective. Consider the autistic and/or special needs children in your life.

Some souls make the decision to come into this world so different from others and “normal” standards that they cannot be changed. They cannot be indoctrinated or molded by others into any form other than who and what they truly are.

Social conditions do not apply. Religious beliefs do not stand. Opinions do not matter. These souls choose spiritual freedom over being physically average. They are extra-ordinary simply by being, and remaining to be, their authentic selves. These souls are truly free; it is those who try to change them that are in bondage.

Theses souls come as teachers of unconditional love and acceptance. Love that is freely given no matter what; acceptance no matter what. These souls, by their own design, cannot be changed; but they change all those around them. The autistic-special needs children ARE special. They are gifts; never burdens. They are gifted...to you; you've earned them.

They are here, with you, as they are, unconditionally, to help you grow as a person and evolve as a soul. Now that is true love. That is a soul mate.
