Steve J. Wagner is an author, writer, and rune reader whose work moves through spirituality, deconstruction, reconstruction, and the long wreckage modern spiritual systems can leave behind. His books, essays, and blog writing carry the same concern at the core: what remains when the pretty stories stop working, and what can be built from what is left.

Over time, Steve’s work has shifted from traditional shamanic language into a sharper, more direct examination of spiritual performance, symbolic language, energetic architecture, and the ways people get tangled up in borrowed beliefs. His writing does not bother much with spiritual fluff. It looks instead at what is functional, what is honest, and what falls apart when the story cannot hold the weight of lived experience.

He is the author of Simpatico, The Major Arcana, Celestial Currents: The Unscripted Soul, and Modern Spirituality Will Never Bring Awakening or Ascension: A Post-Collapse Analysis of Spiritual Fallacies and Deconstruction, among other works. His essays and blog articles continue to explore the collapse of false frameworks, the damage of spiritual bypassing, and the hard, necessary work of rebuilding identity, tribe, and structure after deconstruction.
